Neatly modified Maruti Ertiga looks like a premium MPV [Video]

Maruti Ertiga is one of the most affordable 7-seater MUV one can buy in India. The current generation Ertiga is popular among buyers from both personal and commercial segment. It offers decent amount of space and features and is considered as a value for money product. We have seen several examples of modified Maruti Ertiga in India and other Asian countries. In India one of the common type of modification seen on Ertiga is converting it into a premium looking MUV. Here we have one such video where a lower variant of the Maruti Ertiga has been neatly modified and it looks premium.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger mentions all the changes that have been made to the Ertiga. Starting with the front, it gets an aftermarket Indonesian body kit. The kit is installed on the front bumper and it  gives the Ertiga a muscular look. The black garnishes around the fog lamp now get a gloss carbon fibre finish. The body kit is body coloured and gets silver and red accents to it.

The headlamps on this Ertiga have been upgraded. It now comes with projector type lights and it also gets aftermarket crystal LED DRL that can be controlled using a mobile application. Moving to the side profile, the car gets Maruti Ertiga’s genuine alloy wheels. The stock steel rims on the Ertiga were replaced with 15 inch gunmetal grey genuine alloy wheels. The car also gets body coloured beading on the door and a lower body skirting.

The windows get high infrared heat rejection clear film and damping has been done on all four doors. The ORVM covers get carbon fiber finish and there are roof rains and door visors installed as well. As we move to the rear, the vlogger shows the roof mounted spoiler which is a Maruti genuine accessory. The tail lights have been replaced with XL6 units and there are reflector LED lamps on the bumper. The car also gets the Indonesian body kit installed on the rear bumper as well. Another addition at the rear was the windscreen wiper. It is not offered as a standard equipment in lower trims. They installed the rear wiper and is properly functioning like in the higher trims.

Moving in, the seats are wrapped in Walnut brown and black colour upholstery which looks elegant on the car. The door pads are wrapped in Walnut brown leather and there are plastic trims which get carbon fibre finish. There are illuminated scuff plates and the floor mats have been installed as well. The steering wheel on the Ertiga was also customised and gets steering mounted controls.

The pillars are wrapped in leather and footwell area gets lights as well. There are ambient lights installed in this car. The dashboard on this Ertiga has also been given a carbon fibre finish. It gets an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless. Overall, the work done on this Maruti Ertiga looks very neat and the cabin definitely looks premium.
