Cars, for some people, are an extension of their personalities, and having a car that reflects their identity is all they desire. One of the most common ways people achieve this is by painting their cars in unique colors. However, this may not always be possible as auto manufacturers have to consider costs before finalizing a color palette for their vehicles. That is why the owner of this particular new-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno decided to paint their red car in a very distinct green color.
Brotomotiv, a company based in Pune known for painting some of the most unique colors on cars across India, shared a video of the repainted Maruti Suzuki Baleno on YouTube. At the beginning of the video, the presenter and owner of the shop introduces the car, mentioning that this will be the first new-generation Maruti Suzuki Baleno in India and that the car will be repainted with Isle of Man Green, a color from the German luxury carmaker BMW.

Following the introduction, the technicians start tearing down and disassembling the car. They first remove the front and rear glass, along with the rearview mirrors, doors, and all other exterior parts. They also remove the front and rear bumpers, headlights, and taillights. They then start sanding the car and fixing minor dents. After this process, the owner of the shop explains that repainting a car in a unique color, not offered from the factory, is a simple process.
He states that interested people can reach their local RTO offices and fill out a form for the color change of their vehicle. The RTO then approves the documents, and a new registration certificate is sent to the mentioned address in the documents. Following this, the technicians can be observed painting black primer on the car and then resanding it to make it smooth for the process of laying down the paint. The color is then prepared according to BMW’s proportions for Isle of Man Green and then painted on the car.
The presenter adds that the customer had requested to paint the roof and trims of the door in black color, along with other smaller parts like the grille, mirrors, and trims painted in gloss black. After the entire painting process is completed, the car gets reassembled. The presenter then states that the car came out great and that they kept the car pretty simple, avoiding anything outrageous that might detract from the overall class of the car and color. The entire car then gets wet sanded and receives a buff and polish to enhance the shine and remove any orange peel. Finally, the car gets a wash, and the after results are shown with some amazing shots of the vehicle.
As mentioned the car is the new generation Baleno and it is one of the best selling premium hatchbacks in the country. The model comes powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor that generates a maximum power of 90 PS and a peak torque of 113 Nm.
