The new Hyundai Creta facelift was launched last month. The facelifted Creta comes with a handful of styling changes and some new features. Hyundai Motor India Ltd recently released a new TVC to promote its updated SUV. The TVC highlights some premium features of the Creta facelift whilst giving us a good look at the SUV’s refreshed front-end.
The TVC shows a wildlife photographer who spots a newly-born Eagle that has been separated from her mother. The Good Samaritan decides to reunite the baby Eagle with his mother and can be seen driving his Creta facelift up a mountain to do so. The TVC goes on to highlight features like the smartband key, wireless charging, sunroof, LED DRLs, and roof rails. The video also provides us with a good view of the updated Creta’s revised styling. The new Creta looks bolder due to the set of styling updates it has received.
It gets Hyundai’s cascading-effect grille, tweaked bumpers, LED DRLs, and new alloy wheels. On the inside, there are several new features on the top-end trims. The Creta finally gets an electric sunroof, which will surely make it more popular among the SUV buyers. It also gets wireless charging facility and a wearable smartband key. The specifications remain unchanged, which means the Creta continues to offer a petrol engine and two diesel motors.
The petrol-sipping Creta is powered by a 1.6-litre VTVT unit that outputs 121 bhp of maximum power and 151 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. The diesel engine options include 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre CRDi turbocharged motors. The 1.4-litre engine offers 89 Bhp and 220 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.6-litre unit outputs 126 Bhp-260 Nm. It’s available with a 6-speed manual transmission along with an optional automatic gearbox. Prices of the Creta start at Rs. 9.43 lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
