The next generation Hyundai i10 small car was spied testing recently with a lot of camouflage. The present i10 was given a facelift only recently but it seems Hyundai plans to take it even further.
The new i10 will likely be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it will likely launched in India by the end of 2014.

Although the car is heavily camouflaged we can see that the front will get a new bumper, fluidic headlamps and a large air dam. It also appears to be slightly bigger than the present model in terms of external size; if this is carried on to the inside it will become much more spacious and comfortable. It will have more legroom and more boot space.

It is also rumoured that the next gen i10 will sport different engines from the ones it has at present. It may be offered with a 1.0-litre Kappa engine tuned for more fuel efficiency and better performance. The icing on the cake for small car lovers will be the diesel i10 which is expected to come with a 1.1-litre diesel engine. Also read: New Hyundai i10 diesel coming next year

This diesel option will make it quite a hit in the Indian market if the present fuel price situation sustains till 2014. It will bite into the Chevrolet Beat’s market, which currently is the most affordable diesel small car. Would you be more interested in the Hyundai i10 if it had a diesel engine option?
