For the last couple of years Mahindra has been surprising car buyers in India with their products. First they launched the all-new Thar and last year they launched the all-new XUV700. Both the SUVs have received an overwhelming response from the customers and there is a long waiting period of both these SUVs. Mahindra Thar is currently the most affordable 4×4 SUV in the Indian market. We have seen several videos related to Thar modifications on internet. DC2 which is a well-known name in the vehicle customisation industry also modified the all-new Thar. The DC2 verison of Thar is called Thar Hulk. Here we have a set of images that show how the SUV looks like in real.
The images have been shared by asif_tinwala on his Instagram profile. The post shows how the DC2 Mahindra Thar Hulk actually looks like. The SUV has been spotted on the road couple of times. DC2 is known for customising the cabin of Toyota Innova and other cars. They are best known for converting rear cabin of Innova into a luxurious lounge. There are several modified DC lounges present in different parts of the country.

DC also modifies the exterior but, they are not always the best looking ones. Many of the DC modified vehicles have a very odd looking exterior design and we have seen many of them in the past. In the case of Mahindra Thar however, they have done a decent job. They have completely changed the stock look of the SUV without going overboard. As the name Hulk suggests, the Mahindra Thar now looks a lot more muscular and larger.
Starting with the front, the stock grille and round halogen headlamps have been removed. The front fascia on the Mahindra Thar has been completely redesigned and it now comes with a wide custom front grille with vertical slats. The headlamps are redesigned and are LED units. They are repositioned and are pushed outside too. They now sit in line with the new revised front fenders.
The front fender is actually designed in such a manner that is looks like single unit where it meets the front redesigned bumper. The front bumper has chrome appliques on it. The bonnet has been redesigned as well. It gets couple of scoops on it. The foot board is actually an extension of the fender flare and it continues to the rear fender as well. Overall, the SUV looks a lot more chunkier than stock version.
In order to go well with the overall theme of the Thar. The stock alloy wheels have been replaced with chrome finished aftermarket wheels and chunky off-road tyres. The rear bumper on this Thar has also been redesigned. There are smoked tail lamps and there are chrome garnishes on the rear bumper as well. DC2 also customises the interior on Mahindra Thar but, images of the interiors of this Mahidnra Thar are currently not available. Mahindra Thar is available with both petrol and diesel engine options and comes with 4×4 as standard across the range. It gets a 2.0 litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2 litre mHawk turbo diesel engine. Both engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options.
