There are headlamp garnishes which neatly fit on to the headlamp of the car. We Indians love chrome on our cars as many think that it gives the car a premium look. The chrome garnishes or accessories seen here in the video are stuck to the body of the car using a 3M tape. Just like the garnish for the headlamps, a set of chrome garnishes are available for the tail lamps too. The vlogger entions that, there is another type of garnish available which has separate partition for the turn indicators in it.
Other than the garnish for the headlamps and tail lamps, a chrome cover for the ORVMs is also included in the kit. The Alto K10 does not get body coloured ORVMs, hence these covers would help mask the black coloured ORVMs. Apart from this, the video also shows chrome kit for door handles. Just like other chrome garnishes, this is also stuck on the door handle using the 3M tape behind it.
Maruti Suzuki brought back Alto K10 in Indian market after two years. The previous generation K10 was discontinued during the BS6 transition. The price for the all-new Alto K10 starts at Rs 3.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It is available in Std, LXI, VXI and VXI+ variants. It comes with both manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. The base varaint of Alto K10 does not offer any feature. It is aimed at taxi fleet and misses out on features like power windows, power steering and also the AC. The bumper on the base variant is also not body coloured.
In the higher variants, the car gets power steering, power windows for front passengers, touchscreen infotainment system that is offered with other models and AC. Irrespective of the variant, Alto K10 is powered by the same engine. It gets a 1.0 litre, three cylinder, K10C petrol engine that generates 66.6 Ps and 82 Nm of peak torque.
