Maruti has just launched the new 2012 Swift Dzire in seven variants. The car is shorter than the previous Dzire and is now under 4 metres in length with a stubby boot. Prices start at Rs. 4.79 lakh for the base petrol variant (LXi), going up to Rs. 6.54 lakh for the petrol automatic. The diesel variants start at Rs. 5.80 lakh, going up to Rs. 7.09 lakh for the top-end ZDi variant. CarToq recently test drove the Dzire ZDi.
