Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has quietly launched a base petrol automatic variant of the Corolla Altis.
The new base petrol automatic variant, Corolla Altis 1.8 G (HV) is priced at Rs. 13.76 lakh, which is Rs. 1.22 lakh cheaper than the top-end petrol automatic variant, 1.8 VL priced at Rs. 14.98 lakh.
Apart from the two petrol automatic variants, the Corolla Altis is also available in two manual petrol variants: 1.8G (Rs. 12.56 lakh) and 1.8 GL (Rs. 13.92 lakh) and in three manual diesel variants: D-4D J (Rs.11.76 lakh), D-4D G (Rs. 13.68 lakh), D-4D GL (Rs.14.93 lakh). All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Performance and mileage
The Corolla Altis is powered by a 1.8-litre motor that puts out 140 bhp of power and is mated to a 7-speed CVT-i automatic transmission. The ARAI-certified mileage of the Corolla Altis is 14.3 kmpl.
