Toyota will launch its new Camry sedan in India on August 24, 2012. The new Camry will be launched in New Delhi and will directly compete with the Honda Accord. It will come only with a petrol engine.

When launched, the new Camry will compete with segment leaders like the Skoda Superb, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata and the Volkswagen Passat. Toyota will likely assemble the new Camry locally (via the CKD route), which will bring down the price of the car drastically. The current model of the Camry falls in the price range of Rs. 21.58 lakh – Rs. 23.73 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
