Toyota launched the facelifted Innova at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The Innova is offered in four variants with prices ranging from Rs. 9.4 lakh – Rs. 13.19 lakh. The Innova facelift includes cosmetic changes on the exterior and the interiors but no changes with regard to engine and performance.
The new Innova gets a refreshed chrome grille and slightly sharp looking headlamps that resemble the Corolla Altis. The bumper too, has been redesigned with new housing for the fog lamps.
The side profile of the Innova remains the same except for a few changes. The rearview mirrors get turn indicators and the door handles receive chrome treatment and the top-end variant gets 10-spoke alloy wheels.
The new Innova’s rear gets a fresh tail-lamp cluster and a large chrome strip with ‘Innova’ embossed on it. The rear bumper has inset reflectors for added safety.
On the inside, the dashboard gets a new touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth functionality. The steering audio controls now include controls to make and receive phone calls. The faux wood inserts get a dark brown shade and have been given a shiny smooth finish.
The Innova is available in four diesel variants, the base E variant at Rs. 9.4 lakh, the G variant at Rs. 9.95 lakh, the GX variant at Rs. 11.29 lakh and the VX variant at Rs. 13.19 lakh.
