2023 Tata Nexon facelift walkaround featured

Tata Motors has unveiled the new 2023 Nexon EV facelift to the world. The new facelift brings a breath of fresh air to this model, just like the ICE Nexon facelift. The model will be launched on September 14, and bookings will commence on September 9. Now, although a lot of people have seen the pictures of this new EV SUV, there are not many videos around. So, to show you the in-depth walkaround of this new EV, we bring to you this video from the popular YouTuber Gagan Choudhary.

As mentioned, the in-depth walkaround video of the new Tata Nexon EV facelift has been shared on YouTube by Gagan Choudhary on their channel. It starts off with the presenter mentioning that this is only a walkaround video, as Tata Motors has put an embargo on the drive reviews of the car until the 12th of September. Following this disclaimer, he starts off with the exterior walkaround of the all-new Tata Nexon EV facelift.

First up, he shows the key of the new Nexon EV and mentions that it is the same as before and other Tata models. He then moves to the front end of the car and mentions that the company has made a few changes to differentiate the Nexon EV facelift and the Nexon facelift; however, apart from that, it looks almost the same. He adds that the main differences come from the missing gloss black portion of the grille, which is present on the new Nexon facelift. He adds that the EV also gets a full-width LED DRL up top and a brand new lower front grille with slats. He adds that, according to him, this car looks very much like the BYD Atto 3 from the front and rear.

Moving on, he then adds that the rest of the things are very much the same as the new Nexon facelift. He then adds that the Nexon Prime and Max nomenclature have been changed; it now comes in two variants, the MR (medium range) and LR (long range). He adds that the company has kept the batteries of both models the same. The MR gets the 30 kWh battery, meanwhile, the LR gets a 40.5 kWh battery. The presenter then mentions that the range has also not changed drastically, but it now offers an ARAI certified 325 km range in the MR variant and 465 km in the LR variant. He adds that the main difference is in the motor of the car, which is now 20 kg lighter.

He then shows the LED DRL of the car and mentions that the lower trims do not get the full-width bar. The full-width bar, according to the presenter, also shows the battery charge percentage during charging. He then shows the rest of the side profile of the car and mentions that it looks the same as the Nexon facelift. He also shows the rear and says the same for it as well.
