Maruti Suzuki has woken up from a slumber and have been launching new models in the market. Till now, Maruti has launched and unveiled a total of 6 models in India and they are not done with the launches yet. It looks like the manufacturer is now working on the next-generation Alto hatchback. The Maruti Alto was recently spotted before launch during a TVC shoot. Here we have another set of spy pictures where we get a clear look on how the rear profile of Maruti Alto looks like.
The images have been shared by motorbeam on their Instagram page. The spy pictures show the next-generation Alto on a flatbed with cover on top of it. It looks like the car was brought to a location as part of the TVC shoot only. This is the production version of the entry level hatchback from Maruti. From what is visible from the spy pictures, it is clear that the Alto has received major design updates. It is not a mere facelift but a completely new product. The design of the next-generation Alto is inspired by the current generation Celerio which got launched last year.
The car seen here gets a shade of Blue which looks beautiful on the car. The rounded tail lamps with integrated turn indicators and reverse gear lamp are clearly visible. Th model however does not get any alloy wheels. The Red and Blue version which was spotted earlier had wheel covers. It is highly unlikely that Maruti would offer alloy wheels with the next-generation Alto. Just like the rear, the front-end of the Alto is also expected to have a rounded design. The car will also offer a decent boot space as seen in the pictures.
