Nissan launches refreshed Micra CVT

With the festive season just around the corner, manufacturers are leaving no stone unturned to give customers a choice of fresh cars in the market. Nissan in a similar bid launched the Micra CVT with a new ‘Sunshine Orange’ color. The CVT model is priced at Rs. 4.55 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.


The new bright color of the Nissan Micra CVT is complemented by the all-black interiors similar to the European models. Nissan Micra CVT is also available with 5 other color options like Brick Red, Turquoise Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, Nightshade and Storm White.

A lot of manufacturers are putting the orange colored models in the market. Nissan says that the color is gaining popularity and is also a symbol of the festive season in India. Inside, the car gets piano black finished center console, black door trims, black seat upholstery with contrasting blue stitches. The Micra feels very premium with the new updates.

These new options come without any price increase. We’re confident this package will resonate with Indian customers.”

Other than this, there are mechanical changes in the car. The Micra continues to be powered by 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 76 BHP. The car does not offer a manual transmission and is only offered with CVT gearbox. The engine returns a maximum of 19.34 km/l. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre four cylinder engine that returns a maximum of 63 BHP. The engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission and an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 23.08 km/l.
