Nissan India is offering interesting discounts and offers on their model line up this festive season. This move will likely help the brand attract more customers as the coming months are considered auspicious for purchasing automobiles.
But, are these discounts interesting enough for you to buy one? Is there really a benefit for the customer in these deals or are they mere veils that are being used to rope in buyers? We find out!
First, lets a take a look at the offers and the actual prices of the Micra and the Sunny on which the company is offering discounts:
The petrol variant of the Micra comes with an exchange bonus of up to Rs.50,000 and free insurance through Nissan. The diesel variant on the other hand comes with an exchange bonus of up to Rs.20,000 and free insurance.
The Micra is available in two diesel variants (XV and XV Premium) and three petrol variants (XE, XL and XV). The diesel variants are priced at Rs.5.98 lakh and Rs.6.43lakh respectively, while the petrol variants are priced at Rs.4.23 lakh, Rs.4.86 lakh and Rs.5.53 lakh respectively. The Nissan Sunny petrol comes with an exchange bonus of up to Rs.50,000 and free Insurance from Nissan. The Diesel variant comes with an exchange bonus of up to Rs.25,000 and a gold coin worth up to Rs. 7,000.
The Nissan Sunny like the Micra is available in two diesel variants (XL and XV) and three petrol variants (XE, XL and XV). The diesel variants are priced at Rs.8.14 lakh and Rs.8.95 lakh respectively, while the petrol variants are priced at Rs.5.95 lakh, Rs.7.07 lakh and Rs.7.88 lakh respectively. This offer is neither a deal maker nor a deal breaker. If you were already planning to opt for the Nissan Micra or the Nissan Sunny then this is a good time to get benefits of up to Rs.50,000 on the Micra and Sunny. The offers on the diesel variants aren’t very attractive either but since diesel variants are the ones that sell most units this is no surprise.
