Nissan Sunny India launch in 2011

Nissan China will launch the ‘global sedan’ Sunny at the Guangzhou Auto Show tomorrow and here are the official images of Sunny revealed ahead of the launch. Nissan Sunny is built on ‘V’ platform (V- Versatile).

Nissan revealed a sketch of the new global sedan on October 13th. The name of this car has been rumored to be either ‘Sunny’ or ‘Versa’ or ‘Tiida’. Nissan has clarified that the new car is an altogether new model and should not to be mistaken for a Micra with a boot.

We agree with Nissan because the images clearly shows that Sunny’s exteriors have little to do with Micra, but it does resemble Teana, especially the front grille. The side profile has large glass area but the rear is disappointing and doesn’t gel well with the car’s overall design.
