Lamborghini India has delivered a Huracan EVO RWD to a customer in Meghalaya. It is the first Huracan EVO RWD to be delivered in North-East India. The sportscar is finished in a nice shade of red or as Lamborghini likes to call it “Rosso Efesto” and it costs Rs. 3.21 Crores ex-showroom. The manufacturer is working on expanding its dealership network.
Mr. Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India said, “We are excited to deliver the first Huracan in the north-east region of India; in the city of Shillong. Over the last few years, we have witnessed consistent growth in our volumes from non-metro cities. Taking Lamborghini to these metros has allowed the Lamborghini enthusiasts to connect with the brand and pursue their aspirations more up-close. “To reach these new geographies and segment of customers with dreams and aspirations to own a Lamborghini has been one of the key strategies for Lamborghini India. Our initiative, ‘Lamborghini in Your City’ is a program curated to provide unique experiential drives in non-metro cities where Lamborghini enthusiasts are able to enjoy the driving performance of our super sports cars and the exclusive lifestyle that the world of Lamborghini brings to them. Non-metro cities are one of the fastest emerging markets for Lamborghini and we will continue to invest in creating experiences for our customers in these markets to expand our reach further.”
Specs
Lamborghini Huracan is one of the last cars that still get a naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine. Now, most of the manufacturers have shifted to force induction. The engine puts out 610 PS of max power at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels only. Despite being a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, the Huracan EVO can hit a ton in just 3.3 seconds and 200 kmph in 9.3 seconds. It has a top speed of 325 kmph.

Brakes
Braking duties on the Huracan EVO RWD are done by discs in the front and back. There are 8 piston calipers in the front and 4 piston calipers at the rear. The wheels measure 19-inches in size. The front ones are wrapped in 245/35 section tyres while the rear ones are fatter as they measure 305/35Z. The tyres are Pirelli P Zero. There is Electronic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control.
Connected car features
Despite being a sports car, the Huracan comes with Lamborghinin’s UNICA application that enables connected car features. So, you can get real-time traffic information, Geo-fencing alert, car finder, vehicle status report, OTA updates and Alexa integration. Other features include Web Radio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and much more.
Aerodynamics
The EVO version of the Huracan was a significant improvement over the regular Huracan. Lamborghini made a lot of changes to aerodynamics. There is a front splitter that channels the air to the engine and to the brakes. This helps in cooling. The rear diffuser helps in generating vertical downforce which helps in increasing the grip of the vehicle.
