Sunroofs are getting increasingly popular in our country with more and more people going for sunroof equipped car variants. A car cabin with a sunroof feels more airy and takes up the appeal of the car. Moreover, it provides a whole different experience when travelling through scenic destinations. The only issue is the price, as most of the manufacturers only provide sunroof only in the top end variants of their cars. However, now you can easily equip a sunroof in your car easily and at an affordable rate. Webasto, a global leader in sunroof solutions, offers several options for most of the cars on sale in India. Prices start from Rs. 22,000.
The company offers a number of options in the market to choose from. However, we here are five of them which are the most popular and offer the most bang for the buck. These different types of sunroofs can be fitted on any car. The prices for these sunroofs start from Rs. 22,000 and go up to Rs. 1.7 lakhs. Although Webasto offers even more affordable models, the lower models miss out on many features which are crucial in providing the overall experience of a sunroof. Down below are the five sunroof models with their prices.
- Webasto H100 Manual Pop Up Sunroof – Rs. 22,000
- Webasto H300 Entry Automatic Sunroof – Rs. 65,000
- Webasto H300 Tropic Automatic Sunroof – Rs75,000
- Webasto H400 Fabric Convertible Automatic Sunroof – Rs1,30,000
- Webasto H700 Inbuilt Automatic Sunroof Rs.1,70,000
As seen above, the base model is the H100 Manual Pop Up Sunroof which is available for Rs. 22,000 while the top model here is the H700 Inbuilt Automatic Sunroof available for Rs.1,70,000. As evident by its name, the base H100 Manual Pop Up sunroof is a pop-up type unit which is operated manually. Basically, it lets you have a sunroof on your car for cheap but it can’t be opened fully and has to be operated manually. However, it does lend a new feel to the interiors and let’s fresh air inside the car without opening the windows.
The second and third models are more or less the same in function but the H300 Tropic model has a few more features on it. They are both powered and can be opened and closed at the touch of a button. However, the glass slides up on the roof and not in between the roof panel. The major difference between the two is that the H300 Tropic model comes with anti-pinch feature along with an opaque shade.
The H400 fabric offers much more real estate in terms of opening, though it gets a fabric convertible type lid for the sunroof opening. The opening is similar to the likes of the panoramic sunroof and the fit is quite secure too so one does not has to worry about any leaks or other such issues. The top model here, H700, is a fully automated and inbuilt sunroof. The glass on this model slides in between the roof panels. However, it is also the most expensive of the lot with a price of Rs. 1.7 lakhs. If you want to get a sunroof installed on your car, contact Revheads by clicking on the link below.
