The heavy flow of floodwater from the hills overwhelmed the cars, despite being parked in what appeared to be a designated parking area.

The rainfall has particularly affected hilly towns like Manali, leaving tourists stranded with limited means of rescue. The Weather Department has issued warnings urging residents and tourists to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel. Car owners are advised to park their vehicles in elevated areas, away from the swiftly flowing waters. The situation remains critical, with the potential for further damage as flood-like conditions persist.

Residents using boats to commute
Most of the underpasses across Delhi-NCR have shut down due to the rains. A few days ago, residents of Gurugram, which is also known as the Millenium City used rafting boats to commute.

Despite being known for its high cost of living and quality standards, the city is plagued by poor road quality. The video captures a reporter navigating a boat through knee-deep water on a busy road in broad daylight.
While crossing paths with numerous vehicles, the reporter emphasizes the difficulties faced by residents due to this issue. In a city like Gurugram, where the per capita income is high and modern infrastructure is expected, waterlogging problems during the monsoon season are distressing and pose significant challenges for commuters.
