Tata will launch a slew of new and updated cars in the Indian market soon. Before the Auto Expo 2020, Tata will launch the updated version of the Nexon, Tata Tiago and the Tata Tigor in the Indian market. These facelifted models will be launched apart from the all-new Tata Altroz, which will also launch this month. Tata has officially revealed what the upcoming Nexon, Tiago and Tigor will look like and here are the details.
Tata Nexon facelift
Tata will launch the updated Nexon in the Indian market later this month and the manufacturer has started accepting the bookings for the car too. The Nexon facelift will be launched with a new grille, new headlamps, new alloy wheels, new tail lamps, new fog lamps, new bumper, and a tweaked overall look. The Nexon facelift will also offer a new cabin with new features like flatbottom steering wheel, updated dashboard, and new features like rain-sensing wipers, cruise control and automatic headlamps. The Nexon will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options and it will offer 8 variants in the market. Both 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine options will be available with the updated Nexon but due to the additional equipment to make it BS6 compliant, the price will increase by almost Rs 1 lakh for the petrol variants and Rs 1.5 lakhs for the diesel variants.
Tata Tiago facelift
The Tiago gets an update that makes it look inspired by the upcoming Tata Altroz. The Tiago gets new grille and bumper. Also, the car gets new tweaked headlamps that offer an overall updated look. The Tiago will also offer new alloy wheels and slightly updated cabin. The cabin gets body-coloured highlights on the dashboard, flat-bottom steering wheel, and more. The upcoming version gets updated colours including the new Victory Yellow. Tata will discontinue the diesel engine option because of the upcoming BS6 emission compliance. However, the 1.2-litre petrol engine will meet the BS6 compliance. It will offer both manual and AMT automatic transmission options.
Tata Tigor facelift
The Tigor gets a slew of updates, which are similar to the Tata Tiago. It includes a new grille, which gets the Horizonext design pattern. The headlamps of the upcoming Tata Tigor has been updated too while the tail lamp set gets slightly updated too. Tata has introduced new colour options with the BS6 compliant Tigor too. Other updates in the cabin include a new steering wheel and a dark theme dashboard. Overall, the car looks quite refreshing. Tata will again discontinue the diesel engine option from the Tigor and will only offer the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine option, which will meet the upcoming BS6 compliance. The updated Tigor will be launched in the JTP version too.
