After months of delays, Ola Electric finally started delivering the scooters earlier this month. With the mass deliveries making headlines, many customers are unhappy about the manufacturing defects and the quality of the scooters.
Many have even started complaining about social media platforms. Here is one such customer who will receive a brand-new replacement scooter.
An OLA S1 Pro was delivered to me at the Visakhapatnam event today.
It has cracks & dents all over the body. The manager says she will get it repaired before delivery. But repair is not the option. I paid for a new product, not a refurbished product@OlaElectric @don4every1 #Ola pic.twitter.com/ifZnDsJaXg

With the number of bookings skyrocketing, many Ola customers who have booked the scooter have started to show their disappointment online. Kartik Varma on Twitter said that he received the Ola S1 Pro at Vishakapatnam and the scooter had cracks and dents all over the body. When he complained about the same, the manager of the store said that they will repair the scooter. However, Kartik said that he paid for a new scooter and not a refurbished one. Ola then replied to Kartik and assured him that he will get a replacement scooter and not the repaired one.
@bhash hi Bavish, my Ola S1 pro was delivered yesterday. In less than 6km of drive aftr delivery it has to be towed away for screeching noises and headlight issues. What irks me more is that I’m yet to get my bike back despite promising to bring it back in few hours @OlaElectric pic.twitter.com/pHi0uEPGYi

More customers complain
Bhavish, No offense but I tested 4 times
I failed to do a 100Km range in single charge, and speedometer is not showing accurate speed, it’s 5-7km extra from reality.

Rajiv Bajaj took a jibe at Ola
Bossman of Bajaj Auto Limited, Rajiv Bajaj came all out against the new-age electric scooter manufacturers. He said that the BET or the Bajaj, Enfield, and TVS eat OATS or Ola, Ather, Tork, and Sharp-E for breakfast.
