Ola Electric’s all new S1 Air electric scooter has generated substantial market excitement, being a toned down version of the Ola S1 Pro it has created a lot of hype. The Ola S1 Air has fewer features than the S1 Pro while looking nearly the same.
The electric scooter was launched at the introductory price of ₹1.09 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) and this offer was available only for the customers who had done pre booking for the Ola S1 Air before 28th August. For other customers the scooter was available at the price of ₹1.19 Lakhs (Ex-showroom.)
However, the CEO and founder of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal, tweeted that the introductory price offer will be extended till 15th August due to huge demand. The tweet said

The Ola S1 Air is the most affordable scooter from Ola was first launched in October 2022, at a price of Rs. 84,999 but saw an increase in prices with the government reducing subsidies under FAME-II scheme. The scooter will have an introductory price of ₹1.09 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) for Ola community members and people, who had reserved the scooter earlier, till 15th August, 2023.
The scooter has a smaller 3 kWh battery and a top speed of 90 km/h. Power is generated from a 4.5 KW hub motor pumping out 6 BHP of peak power. On a full charge it offers a range of 125km. However, this may change depending on the mode you are using and your riding style. Ola S1 Air has 3 driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sports compared to the 4 of Ola S1 Pro which are Eco, Normal, Sports and Hyper.
The suspension set-up on the scooter is a twin telescopic at the front and dual shock at the rear. There are no disc brakes on the Ola S1 Air. As per Ola the charging time is 5 hours and the charger offered with the scooter is a portable 750W unit. Currently the scooter is available in 6 color options and you can book yours online from official Ola website.
Ola S1 Air is all set to compete with TVS iQube and the upcoming Ather 450S, which is launching on 3rd August. The iQube is priced at ₹1.25 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) and the price of Ather 450S is ₹1.29 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
