Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X electric scooters compared on video

Electric vehicles are becoming a popular thing in India and several new manufacturers have come forward with new products. One such manufacturer who has been in the news lately is Ola. They launched their all-new range of electric scooters in the market at an attractive price tag. It received an overwhelming response and the delivery for the S1 and S1 pro electric scooter will start in the coming months. The manufacturer has now started offering test rides for the scooters and here we have a video where a vlogger is seen doing a quick comparison between the Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X electric scooter.

The video has been uploaded by Pradeep on Wheels on their YouTube channel. In this vide, vlogger does a quick comparison of the Ola S1 Pro and Ather 450X scooter. Vlogger starts with the price of both the scooters. Vlogger said that Ather 450X is priced at Rs 1.51 lakh on road in Bangalore whereas the Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.41 lakh on road.

Ola S1 Pro has an ARAI certified range of 155 kms in normal m0de. Ather 450X on the other comes with a maximum riding range of 85 kmph in Eco Mode. Then he talks about the connectivity features on both the scooters. Both the scooters are equipped with a touchscreen and come with a host of connectivity features. Vlogger said that the screen in Ola S1 Pro offered a lot more features and information that Ather. Ola scooter can be unlocked using the mobile application or pin code while the Ather uses a physical key.

The Ola S1 Pro has a unique feature that no other electric scooter in the segment offers. It comes with cruise control. He then talks about the pick up and speed of Ola S1 Pro. He mentions that S1 Pro felt a lot more faster and also offers a higher top speed. Ather 450X’s top speed is limited to 90 kmph while the Ola S1 Pro can do a top speed of 115 kmph. Ather achieves this top speed in Warp mode while the Ola uses the Hyper mode.

Then he talks about the overall look of both scooters. He says, Ather 450X has a sharper looking or bold looking design while Ola scooter gets a curvy and cute design. Ola offers more colour options that Ather too. Vlogger personally like the design of Ola scooter and  mentioned that it comes with bigger battery, motor and generates more power. Ola scooter offers a large underseat storage that can hold upto 2 riding helmets in it. The same is not possible in an Ather.

One of the things that he did not like about the Ola Scooter was the bump in the middle of footboard area. He felt that a flat floor would have provided better convenience to the rider. He was very impressed with the Ola S1 Pro and asked Ather to up their game and S1 Pro is a value for money product. It offers more range, power and is cheaper than Ather 450X.
