The Ola electric scooter has always been in the news for various reasons and this time around, Ola is offering a festive season offer on the S1 Pro scooter where it is being offered at a discount of Rs 10,000.

Ola electric has published the offer on their website. Not only are they offering a Rs 10,000 off but, there are other attractive offers too. This is the first time, Ola electric is offering discount on their scooters. The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter which was launched at a price of s 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom can be now bought at Rs 1.3 lakh, ex-showroom after discount. The announcement for the festive season discount was made by Ola through their social media profiles. The current Rs 10,000 off is valid till October 5, Dussehra.

Interested buyers can log on to Ola’s official website and book the scooter to avail the discount. As there are no physical dealerships for Ola scooter, one has to book the scooter online only. Only the S1 Pro electric is currently getting this offer. The recently introduced S1 does not get this offer. Other than Rs 10,000 off, Ola is also offering Zero processing fee on loans ( subject to customer profile), reduced interest rate of as low as 8.99 percent and rs 1,500 off on extended warranty for 5 years. Ola electric scooters have always remained in the news. Just like any other new product in the market, Ola electric scooter have also faced some issues.

There have been many cases in the past where the scooter had stopped responding or even reverse gear got engaged while the rider was riding it forward. The fully digital touschscreen instrument cluster on the scooter also stopped responding at times. There have even been cases where the scooter caught fire. The customer service support was also not up to the mark and even today, there are many people who have an Ola scooter can be seen complaining about the issues on their scooter online.

The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter comes with a 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It takes about 6.5 hours to completely charge the batteries and has a claimed riding range of 180 km. There are customers who have managed to rider 200 km and 300 km on a single charge. Ola electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal had even gifted Ola S1 Pro scooters to couple of customers who achieved 200 km mark on a single charge in their Ola scooter. Ola is currently working on an electric car. Few months ago, they had released teaser images of their upcoming electric car. Along with that, couple of videos of the concept have also been shared by Bhavish on Twitter. The all-new electric car from Ola will be officially launched in 2024.
