Porsche, a hallowed automobile brand known for its range of sportcars began building the Cayenne range of SUVs over a decade ago. Ergo, profits have gone up, sales have more than quadrupled and Porsche is in a very sweet spot, thanks majorly to the Cayenne luxury crossover range.

Like all other Porsche cars sold in India, the Cayenne Platinum Edition is imported through the completely built unit (CBU) route. The Cayenne Platinum Edition uses the 3 liter, V6 turbo diesel engine, in a 240 Bhp-550 Nm state of tune. the torque is transmitted to all four wheels of the Cayenne Platinum Edition by means of a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The Cayenne Platinum Edition comes with a host of changes, both on the inside and on the outside. The car’s insides feature a black Luxor Beige two-tone leather interior with the non-contact areas using art leather. The seat headrests get the Porsche crest embossing while the floor mats and front door sills get the “Platinum Edition” badging.
Standard features on the Cayenne Platinum Edition include the Sport Design steering wheel with paddle shifters, Porsche Power Steering Plus and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a navigation system. The Platinum Edition Cayenne gets Black, White, Meteor Grey Metallic, Jet Black Metallic, Mahogany Metallic and Carrera White Metallic paint finishes.
Riding on 19 inch alloy wheels, the Cayenne Platinum Edition gets a Platinum Silver Metallic finish for features such as the center and side intake grilles, side windor trim, rear spoiler lip and lower tailgate trim.
