DC2 is a popular name in the vehicle customisation industry. They have customised several cars, SUVs, and MPVs in the past. In most cases, DC2 customises the interior of the car only. Although DC2 is great at customising the interior of the cars, the same cannot be said about exterior modifications. They have modified several vehicles in the past including 4x4s with their own body kits. The cars are designed to such an extent that it is almost unrecognisable. Most of their exterior modification works end with an odd or weird looking design. Here we have a new set of images where DC2 has customised a Premier Padmini for a client.

The images have been shared by DC2 Dilip Chhabria on their official Facebook Page. The post mentions that the car seen here is one of their recent project for a customer and as part of the modifications, they will be completely restoring and redesigning the whole sedan. The images seen here are actually digital renders that show how the finished product would look like. There are chances that the finished product might have some changes. Starting with the exterior, the Premier Padmini’s boxy design has been slightly revised. This has been done to give the car a modern and stylish look without actually losing its character.
The bonnet of the sedan has been redesigned and so is the front grille. The front grille is now larger and is finished in chrome. The headlamps are round and they look similar to the ones that were offered with HM Ambassador Avigo sedan. The headlamps are probably projector units. All the badges and logos from the car has been removed. The front bumper has been redesigned and the metal chrome bumper is now integrated into it.

The side profile of the sedan looks different from the stock sedan. As mentioned above the design of the car has been slightly altered and it comes with a chrome belt running through the center of the doors. This is probably where the door handles have been integrated. The windows look large and the wheel arches in this render look large too. The wheels on this render version look different from the stock version. The steel rims have been replaced with spoke wheels. We are still not sure whether these wheels would still be there with the finished project.

The roofline of the DC2 Premier Padmini is slightly sloping towards the rear and it meets the boot with all LED aftermarket tail lamps. Just like at the front, the rear bumper on this sedan has been redesigned and the chrome insert can be seen here too. As mentioned above, DC2 is best known for customising the interior of the car. The images shared here by them however only show the exterior of the car. If the car is being modified to this extent from the outside, we are pretty sure that the client would have opted for interior customisations too.
We expect, DC2 to completely redesign the dashboard of the sedan. Just like the exterior, the interior of the car would retain its character while offering modern day features to the occupants. It will probably be loaded with features like premium quality leather upholstery, ambient lights, a touchscreen infotainment screen, steering wheel with control and so on. The redesigned exterior does not look too bad in fact the car does look inspired from James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5.
