Mahindra Verito Pros
If you look at the Mahindra Verito 1.4 petrol the first thought that comes to the mind is that of an affordable entry-level sedan. That in itself is one of its positives as it is within the reach of many who cannot afford to buy other more expensive sedans. This is true for the diesel as well and the Verito also has a low maintenance cost.
If you drive the Verito you will realize that it has solid build quality and is extremely spacious for its price. In the mileage department the petrol Verito and diesel Verito look in different directions; while the diesel is very fuel efficient the petrol is rather low on mileage. The petrol returns 14 kmpl while the diesel has a claimed fuel efficiency of 21 kmpl.
Mahindra Verito Cons
The Verito is at the end of the day a budget sedan and has its limitations. The petrol like we pointed out earlier has a poor mileage. The refreshed Verito is much better looking than the previous generation Verito which looked dated but yet isn’t quite the best looking in the segment. If you look at the low-end variants the Verito lacks safety equipment and features. The petrol engine lacks punch and isn’t very fun to drive.
Buying advice
The Verito all in all is an inexpensive, easy to maintain and solidly-built entry-level sedan for those on a budget. If you are looking for great looks or performance then the Verito will not cut it for you. The Verito is more for those who need space and frugality.
