Rare used DC Design Mahindra Thar ‘Hammer’ for SALE!

DC Design, one of the most popular design houses in India has released quite a few interesting vehicles in the past. One of these vehicles is the Mahindra Thar Hammer, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The DC Thar Hammer did attract a lot of eyes and it sure looks quite intimidating on the roads. Well, here is a DC Hammer, which is up for sale in Pune, Maharashtra. It is a used car.

This DC Design Hammer for sale has an asking price of Rs 17.75 lakhs, which makes it more expensive than most new cars like the Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 and the Kia Seltos. However, the vehicle itself looks quite interesting. The advertisement says that it is the only Thar Hammer in Pune, which makes it exclusive. The vehicle comes with comprehensive insurance, which is valid until April 2020. This vehicle was registered in 2017 and the car has done a total of 3,300 km only. This makes the vehicle almost-new. The pictures of the car, which were uploaded on OLX by the seller also show that the car has no scratches on its body and it looks pristine. The pictures also do not show any swirl marks on the body.

The DC Hammer was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and apart from the donor vehicle, DC Design charges around Rs 6 lakhs for the conversion. The transformation job completely changes the way it looks. The Hammer looks much wider than the regular Thar, thanks to the wide body kit added by DC Design. There is a redesigned front bumper, a redesigned grille, new projector headlamps, new fog lamps, and extra flared widebody fenders that look extremely good on the car. These fenders have been retrofitted to add the wide-body look.

At the rear, the DC Design Hammer gets a spare wheel mount, LED tail lamps and a big planted glass area that makes the visibility much better. Most of the changes have been done to the side though. Since the Mahindra Thar gets a soft-top in stock condition, DC Design has fabricated a muscular looking top that has bulges all around. It also gets extra flared wheel arches in the rear. The glass area of the rear is wide and runs all along the length of the vehicle.

Now, DC Design has always been popular for the job that it does to the interiors. This Hammer gets completely revamped interior with the red theme all over. The dashboard, door panels and the seats are now covered in red coloured leather with diamond stitching. Also, it gets a touchscreen infotainment system and a new steering wheel.
