Rare pictures of MS Dhoni’s most powerful car – the 700 Bhp Jeep Cherokee SRT

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, or the man whom we all most commonly refer to as Mahi, the legendary Indian cricketer, is known for his passion for cars and bikes. Dhoni has one of the biggest car and bike collections in India, and the list of vehicles in it is extremely vivid. Back in 2019, the cricketer’s wife, Sakshi Singh, brought home the country’s first-ever Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk when Dhoni was serving in the Indian army. Recently, pictures of this new SUV were reshared online as it was found parked in Ranchi.

The pictures of M.S. Dhoni’s Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk have been shared on Instagram by Car Crazy India on their official page. The pictures, according to the post, are from Ranchi, Jharkhand, where Dhoni resides in his mega-mansion with his entire collection. The caption of the pictures stated, “No replacement for displacement, here is India’s only Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from Ranchi. Can you guess to whom it belongs?? Thanks @thedscollection for the pics.”

The first picture showed the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from the rear. The car is finished in the shade of Velvet Red Pearl. Dhoni’s wife got a special vanity number plate for the cricketer with the number 7781, which is Dhoni’s favorite number. The second picture showed this massive SUV from the side profile. Meanwhile, the third picture showcased the 6.2-liter Hemi badging from Jeep/Dodge, the maker of this SUV. Lastly, the fourth picture showcased the massive scoop in the bonnet.

As mentioned, this is not your standard Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is the ultra-expensive and powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. This was at the time the first and only Trackhawk variant of the Grand Cherokee in India. Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Singh, arranged the car for him as a gift when he came back from the army.

From the outside, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk might fool untrained eyes as it looks very similar to the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, it does have a lot of differentiating factors, including a different front bumper, body-colored flared arches, 20-inch alloy wheels, and the Trackhawk logo on the vehicle. On the inside, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk gets a cabin with an 8.4-inch fully digital instrument cluster with a dedicated screen to track the performance of the vehicle. It also gets Nappa leather upholstery, adding a massive comfort factor to the SUV.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, which is the most powerful variant sold in India, comes powered by a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 producing a maximum power of 468 Bhp and peak torque of 624 Nm! However, Dhoni’s particular Jeep Grand Cherokee is the Trackhawk variant, which gets an even more powerful engine, a 6.2-liter Hellcat engine. This supercharged engine produces a mind-bending 707 Bhp and 875 Nm of peak torque. The enormous amount of power makes the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk the most powerful SUV in India. Furthermore, the car can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.62 seconds. It gets an automatic transmission, and the power is sent to all the wheels.
