Snapshot: Renault India has added the Adventure Edition to the Duster variant line up. The Adventure Edition of the Duster modifies the cosmetic bits of the SUV, adding a dose of freshness to the equation. Mechanically, the Duster remains unchanged with the Adventure Edition being made available on the 110 PS diesel version of the SUV. The Adventure Edition of the Duster is priced at 12.18 lakh rupees, ex-showroom Delhi and the SUV was showcased at the recently concluded 2014 Indian Auto Expo.

The Duster Adventure Edition is powered by a 1.5 liter K9K turbo diesel engine that outputs 108 Bhp of peak power and 248 Nm of peak torque. This engine is ARAI certified to deliver 19.01 Kmpl and comes mated with a 6 speed manual gearbox. All variants of the Duster sold in India are front wheel driven although Renault India has definitely plans of launching a 4X4 version of the SUV later this year. The Adventure Edition of the SUV sits at the very top of the Duster variant line up in India. Therefore, twin airbags, ABS+EBD, reverse parking sensors, bluetooth stereo, audio controls on steering column, a media and navigation system, and driver seat belt reminder are standard. The Duster is built at Renault-Nissan joint manufacturing facility off Chennai. Apart from being sold in India, the SUV is also exported to many countries across the globe.
