Renault Duster Adventure Edition accessories now available off the shelf

Renault India is now selling parts of the Adventure Edition kit for the Duster SUV, off the shelf. This measure is to take advantage of the burgeoning demand for specific elements of the Adventure Edition kit. The different parts that make up the Adventure Edition accessory kit will be sold through Renault dealerships across the country.

This move from Renault also gives prospective Duster buyers and current owners extra choice as they can now opt for only those accessories that they need rather than buying the Duster equipped with the entire Adventure Edition kit.

Obviously, the cost of buying individual accessories is much lower than forking out a full 1.1 lakh rupees extra for the entire Adventure Edition accessory pack. Also, accessories from the Adventure Edition can now be fitted to any Duster variant, which was previously restricted to the 85 PS and 110 PS diesel variants.

All in all, Renault India seems to be having its ears close to the ground and this is a good thing. The Duster is sold with 1.6 liter petrol (104 Bhp-145 Nm) and 1.5 liter diesel engine options, which is available in two states of tune, 84 Bhp-200 Nm and 108 Bhp-248 Nm. 5 speed and 6 speed manual gearboxes are offered across different engines.

Prices of the various accessories sold under the Adventure Edition kit are as follows:

• Flank cladding – Rs. 19,320
• Wheel arch cladding – Rs. 24,660
