Renault recently unveiled the Triber in India which comes across as a versatile vehicle in the sub-4 meter segment. The crossover design vehicle looks pretty decent and follows the latest design language of the manufacturer. To let you know, both the middle row and last row of the Triber can be adjusted in multiple ways to make the compact MPV a 5, 6 or 7 seater.
Removing the third-row results in a maximum boot space of 625 litres. In the 7-row configuration, it offers 84-litre of space while in 6-seater configuration, boot space increases to a good 320-litre. There are four modes available in the seating arrangements – Life mode, Tribe mode, Surfing mode and Camping mode. Moving towards the dashboard and instrument cluster, the Renault Triber gets an all-digital instrument cluster, which is a segment first feature. Other features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Navigation support and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The cabin also gets air-conditioning vents for all the three rows.
Coming to the engine powering this car, the Renault Triber will get powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 72 PS and a peak torque of 96 Nm. The engine will come mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission.
