Rishabh Pant’s accident happened in the wee hours
Around 5:30 am on December 30th, Rishabh Pant was on his way to his hometown in Dehradun from New Delhi to pay a surprise visit to his family residing in Dehradun. However, the cricketer lost control of the Mercedes-AMG GLE SUV which he was driving himself at a very high speed. Due to this, the vehicle overturned a couple of times after hitting a divider at the Narsan border near Hammadpur Jhal in Roorkee on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
After overturning, the SUV burnt down to ashes. However, Pant managed to come out miraculously with the help of Sushil Kumar and Paramjit, who were driving a bus from Dehradun to Delhi in the opposite lane of the highway at that time. Both Kumar and Paramjit saw the vehicle meeting with an accident, after which they stopped the bus and rushed to help Pant to come out of the SUV.
Soon after the accident, Rishabh Pant was rushed to a nearby hospital by Sushil Kumar and Paramjit, where the cricketer was given emergency treatment. The 25-year-old cricketer suffered from injuries to his leg, forehead and back and is on his path to recovery while being treated at a hospital in Mumbai.
Due to continous driving, which requires a lot of attention on the road, it is natural to feel tired. However, what’s more, important to do is to keep note of that fatigue and take a break for some rest or energy drink before completely falling asleep. This way, one can avoid bigger damage which can lead to an accident, which can not only be fatal for that particular vehicle driver but also for other motorists driving around him.
