Rolls Royce makes the most luxurious vehicles in the world. Their flagship vehicle is called the Phantom and it costs a whopping Rs 10 Crores before any taxes. Here, we have a video in which we can see the Rolls Royce Phantom in detail.
The video is uploaded on YouTube by Rajni Chaudhary. The video starts by explaining the history of Rolls Royce. The host explains that Rolls Royce was started by Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Besides making luxury cars, they also make massive engines for aeroplanes. Eventually, Volkswagen bought Rolls Royce in 1998 and then they had to sell it to BMW because of circumstances. But what Volkswagen did was very interesting, they only sold the Rolls Royce brand, they did not sell the Spirit of Ecstasy which we see on every Rolls Royce’s front hood and without this every Rolls Royce is incomplete. BMW had to pay $40 Million to get the rights of the Spirit of Ecstasy.

Speaking of the Phantom itself, it looks menacing from the front because of its sheer size. There is a huge Rolls Royce grill in the front. There is an elegant set of projector headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps. It has a very long hood. On the sides, there are 22-inch alloy wheels and the Rolls Royce badge in the centre has been weighted so that it always stays upright while the car is moving. The rear is quite simple yet very elegant. Despite being a luxury vehicle, there are twin-exhaust tips. It has a 100-litre fuel tank and the fuel efficiency as per ARAI is 9.8 kmpl. However, in real life, the fuel efficiency is 8 kmpl.
The host also shows us the interior. It is finished in a tan brown and black shade. Even the carpets are finished in a tan brown colour. There are rear curtains, umbrella holders in doors, electrically opening and closing doors, ventilated seats, independent climate controls and much more. Rolls Royce still uses suicide doors for their vehicles which makes it easier to get in and out for the rear occupants. One of the highlights of the cabins of the Phantom is the Starlight Headliner which mimics the look of the night sky while you are sitting inside the cabin. There is also a fridge placed behind the centre armrest which also holds two champagne flutes. This Phantom is also equipped with a centre partition.
The host says that the Phantom comes with a 6.6-litre V12 petrol engine that produces 612 hp of max power and 840 Nm of peak torque. However, these specifications do not seem to be correct. The Phantom VIII comes with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged petrol engine that produces 571 PS of power and 900 Nm of torque. The engine has been specifically tuned for smoothness and comfort because of which it produces its peak torque at just 1,700 rpm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
