Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production and hence has seen a lot of different usage over the span of a century. From being used as a small air-dropped bike for military use to being a flag bearer of retro themed motorcycle in the modern era, the company has seen it all.
However, what you are about to see today is as weird and wacky as it gets. The video below by Kp experiments shows how a Royal Enfield Classic can be used to get your party going on by making popcorn. Take a look at it before we go any further.
As quirky as it may seem, what happens in the video is quite hilarious. Actually, the guy demonstrates how to make sizzling hot popcorn by using the silencer of his Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle. He first takes the bike for a spin in a bid to get the silencer hot. After a quick round and a lot of revving, the silencer gets enough hot to be ready and pop some popcorn kernels. Now to let you know, the metal exhaust pipes of Royal Enfield bikes do get real hot after some time of rigorous riding.
Coming to the video in hand, after the ride, the guy gets some popcorn kernels which will be the subject of this wacky experiment. He then fills the silencer opening with a decent amount of kernels. After filling enough of them, he then starts the motorcycle and revs the engine. Now, in order to not allow the kernels to blow away with the revving of the engine, another guy holds a glass up to the silencer opening.
Then after a period of time, the bike is revved hard and off come the popcorn from the silencer. Yes, the kernels get popped into proper edible popcorn in this short period of time. The guy even eats some of them and reports that though they are quite nicely popped, they smell of smoke and dirt and have a black texture on them due to being in a silencer pipe.
Now whether this whole experiment is true or just a spoof is not known. However, going by the various cuts the video had at the crucial moments, the possibility of it all being a clever scam can not be ignored. Also, though the silencer of bikes usually get really hot, their popcorn popping capability is something that seems off the chart.
However, we give it that the experiment was quite a hilarious one if not anything else. We also doubt of anyone have a liking for smoked popcorn smeared with carbon. Desi barbecue popcorn technique invented or just another fake video, what say folks. Let us know in the comment box and have a light hearted laugh over this.
