Royal Enfield launched the Classic motorcycle series around a decade back in 2009. It was a step up from the manufacturer at that time as the Classic bikes came with UCE (Unit-Construction Engine) and fuel injection among other things. The aftermath is seen by us all as the Classic series is one of the most popular retro-themed bikes in India currently. Mod houses and customizers also had a special liking for this bike which has led to a lot of striking examples of modified Royal Enfield Classic bikes. The latest entrant to join the list is the Carbon SS 180 featured here.
The Carbon SS 180 looks drool worthy from all angles but its rear end is what got us hooked. The Carbon started its life as a Royal Enfield Classic 500 Desert Storm but now sits in an all-new sultry avatar. The bike has been worked upon by Bulleteer Customs, which is among the best motorcycle mod houses in India. Based in Bangaluru, Karnataka, they have created a ton of gorgeous looking examples of modified Royal Enfield bikes. Let’s now take a look at what all has gone into the making of this bike.
The bobber themed bike now gets a thick 180 mm section rear tire while the front tire is a 130 mm unit. The tires get capped by custom chopped fenders on both ends. The aftermarket alloys look good too and have been painted in all black, as is the case with the rest of the bike. Taking a closer look will reveal a custom made tank along with a new handlebar and instrument cluster, all of which come together to create this spectacular looking bike. To let you know, every bolt on this bike has been removed, chrome-plated and replaced in order to improve the build quality of this beast.
The front end gets custom Daymaker headlights which provide enough illumination to light the road up in dark. The handlebar mounted indicators further help to enhance the visual drama at night. Custom dual silencers have been added on the bike which are placed on one side. Not only they give this bobber build a distinctive look but we are sure that they lend out quite a good exhaust note too.
The black saddle is a custom piece with diamond embossing linings. An LED strip tail light has been added to the saddle which further enhances the look as well as the practicality of the bike. The bike has been covered in a shade of black which is, in fact, ceramic based paint. The riding stance of this bike is quite comfortable and has a laid back stance. Without a doubt then, the Carbon SS 180 gets a nod from our side for being a spectacular looking motorcycle.
