Royal Enfield is one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturer in the world that is still in production. RE is popular around the world for its retro looking modern motorcycles. The Royal Enfield Bullet and RE Classic are some of the most popular models from the brand. Royal Enfield has been working on several new motorcycles lately. Last year, they launched a brand new 350 cc motorcycle Meteor and now they are also working couple of more models. Royal Enfield will be bringing more 650-cc motorcycles in the market. If Royal Enfield launches a 650-cc version of the Classic motorcycle, what would it look like? We have a render that shows just that.
The render image has been shared by IAB on their website. The artist has reworked a bit on the existing 350 version of Royal Enfield Classic and created a render to show, how it might look like. Although Royal Enfield is working several new models, they have not yet confirmed that they will be launching a Classic 650 motorcycle in the market. In the render image, the front telescopic suspensions have been replaced with USD forks.
Other than that, no major changes can be seen at the front of the bike. It might even get an LED DRL inside the headlamp. It will be similar to what we have seen on Meteor 350. All the chrome elements on the motorcycle have been either blacked out or removed. Only the exhaust and some other parts get chrome finish. The engine has completely been blacked out. The 650-cc engine that we have seen on Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 can be seen here. The fuel tank retains the same shape as Classic 350 with Royal Enfield branding on it.

The seats are split and there is a chrome plated grab rail included for the pillion. Moving to the rear, the tail lights have been replaced with new units. Turn indicators and the tail lights are on the rear fender and is similar to what we have seen on Meteor 350 that got launched lst year. The exhaust gets chrome finish but is different from the one seen on Classic 350. Just like Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 or the upcoming 650cc cruiser, the Classic 650 motorcycle is also expected to get twin exhaust tips.
The other change on the motorcycle will be its instrument cluster. It will be similar to the Interceptor or may be even the upcoming cruiser motorcycle. It will be equipped with Royal Enfield’s Tripper meter which is seen on other Royal Enfield motorcycles these days.
As the the 650-cc engine is heavier, certain changes will be made to the frame of the motorcycle to handle the weight. The motorcycle seen in the article is just a product of artist’s imagination and if Royal Enfield ever launches a 650-cc version, there are possibilities that, it might be different from the one seen in the image. The Royal Enfield Classic 650, will be powered by the same 648-cc, parallel twin cylinder engine that generates a maximum of 47 Bhp and 52 Nm of torque.
