Royal Enfield’s motorcycles are among the most modified bikes in our country. We ourselves have brought you many crazy modification job in past. The modification done vary from being just aesthetic changes to full fledged engine swapping among other things.
Today however, we bring you a concept which looks absolutely ravishing and is unlike anything you would have seen in India. While such designs are common abroad, our country does not have many such designed motorcycles to boot. Take a look and let it sink sink through your mind.
Gorgeous, ain’t it. This design concept has been named ‘Queen’ and is made by Neev Motorcycles, which is a design and modification house based out in Delhi. The bike looks absolutely menacing and is for sure a head turner. The whole modification job is done in house by the company. The Queen is based on the Royal Enfield Calssic 500 and retains the engine along with some other mechanical bits. Now let’s get to know about it in detail.
The Queen is based on a new platform and has been lowered for a ground hugging look. It is also much longer now. Starting from the front, the bike gets a new custom LED headlamp and straight wide handlebars. The front suspension is now a girder fork unit built in house by Neev Motorcycles. The sleek tank is a new fabricated piece which then makes way for a custom saddle. As this is a concept image, the original production version will have some changes to make the bike more practical.
Moving on to the sides, there are custom fabricated side panels and a belly pan. The foot-pegs have been placed forward for a true cruiser style laid back stance. There are many custom made brass part along with the old school fuel filler cap on the tank top. It also has a full custom paint job along with zinc and powder coating. The rear gets a single sided swingarm which takes the looks quotient further high up. There’s a specially designed rear fender which looks cool. The front and rear tires are 140/70 and 200/60 units respectively. They are shod on a 21 inch rim upfront and a 17 inch rim at the back. The rims are not alloys but instead spoked ones, adding to the overall look of the bike. Lastly, there is a custom glass wool exhaust on the bike which takes the responsibility of giving out good acoustics.
Talking of the overall cost of the modification, apart from a donor bike, the whole project will cost around Rs. 5 to 5.5 lakh with all the bells and whistles mentioned here. However, the company starts the modification at around Rs. 1 lakh so you can get yours done according to your budget. Also, it will take around 4 to 5 months for the whole process to get complete.
