The Royal Enfield Thunderbird X is the newest model of the brand in the Indian market. Royal Enfield calls the Thunderbird-based model a factory-custom bike. Royal Enfield bikes have always been known for their presence in the modification and customisation market. With the Thunderbird X, the manufacturer wanted to offer something unique that would give the Royal Enfield customers a feel of an already modified bike.

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird X 350 is priced at Rs. 1.56 lakhs and the Thunderbird X 500 is priced at Rs. 1.98 lakhs, both prices ex-showroom, Delhi. The bike gets modifications like alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, kicked out footpegs, new seat, flatter handlebar, new grab rail and shorter rear fender. The bike looks unique on the road and Royal Enfield also offers a range of striking new colours with the new Thunderbird X models. The engines in both the variants are same as the regular models and there have been no changes in the power output or performance.

The 350 X uses a 346cc engine that generates a maximum power of 19.8 Bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm. The 500X is powered by a 499cc, fuel injected engine that generates a maximum of 27.2 Bhp and 41.3 Nm.
