Rs.35,000 off on the Maruti Suzuki Estilo!

Maruti Suzuki dealers are offering a cash discount of Rs. 35,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 17,000 on the Estilo hatchback. The offer brings down the Estilo’s starting price to Rs. 2.75 lakh from the earlier Rs. 3.27 lakh. This dealer offer is for limited period only.

Firstly let’s take a look at what the prices of each variant of the Estilo have come down to post the discount in the form of a table.

Let’s see if the new offer makes the Maruti Suzuki Estilo, better value for money than other cars in same range such as the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and the Hyundai Santro.

Estilo vs. Wagon R

The Estilo base variant LX with an offer price of Rs. 2.75 lakh is Rs. 60,000 cheaper than the Wagon R base variant LX with an offer price of Rs. 3.35 lakh. Similarly the Estilo LXI with an offer price of Rs. 3 lakh is Rs.65,000 cheaper than the Wagon R LXI .

The Estilo VXI with an offer price of Rs. 3.33 lakh is Rs. 57,000 cheaper than the Wagon R VXI making it a very attractive option. The Estilo VXI ABS too, with an offer price of Rs. 3.62 lakh is Rs. 58,000 cheaper than the Wagon R VXI ABS which is priced at Rs. 4.20 lakh. Summing up, the Estilo with the offer price is significantly cheaper than the Wagon R across all variants.

Estilo vs Santro

The discount offer makes the Estilo LX, Rs. 5,000 cheaper than the Hyundai Santro Xing (non AC) priced at Rs. 2.80 lakh although the Estilo LX comes with AC. Also, the Estilo mid-trim and top-end variants, LXI and VXI are Rs. 42,000 and Rs. 37,000 cheaper than the Santro GL and the Santro GLS.

Overall, the Estilo is significantly cheaper than the Santro taking into account, the mid and top-end variants and the base variant is extremely attractive against the Santro as it is not only Rs.5,000 cheaper but is also equipped with an AC.
