Sachin Tendulkar spotted driving his Porsche 992 Techart

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar loves fast cars and he owns a collection of them. In recent months, Sachin has been spotted with Porsche 992 and Cayenne. Both these vehicles are with the Techart Kit. The former cricketer loves to take out his 992 on the streets of Mumbai. Here are a few pictures that show him driving the car around Mumbai’s Marine Drive.

The pictures of the Porsche 992 were posted by CarCrazy.India. The car gets a Techart kit, costing lakhs of rupees. We are not sure what exact parts Sachin chose for his 992 but Techart offers a list of products to customise the car. The list includes spoilers, diffusers, alloy wheels, seat leathers and even mechanical updates like a nose lift system.

At first look, the 992 Turbo S looks like a standard 911 but look closely and you would be able to spot the differences. It is much more powerful and more aggressive than the regular 911. The Turbo S is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder petrol engine that has a capacity of 3.8-litres. It puts out 650 PS of max power and a massive 800 Nm of peak torque.

The engine comes mated to an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission that drives all four wheels. Porsche’s PDK transmissions are one of the best in the automobile industry when it comes to shifting and response times. It has a top speed of 330 km/h and can hit 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. When compared the regular 911 produces 385 PS of max power and 450 Nm of peak torque from its 6-cylinder engine.

Sachin also owns Cayenne Techart

Sachin Tendulkar also owns a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S with the Techart kit. He bought the SUV back in 2021. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo is currently the top-spec variant of the lineup of Cayenne in India. This full-blown variant of the SUV packs in several sport-oriented features and performance upgrades, which make it one of the most driver-oriented SUVs money can buy in India.

While the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo GT are two more powerful variants than the one owned by Sachin, both these variants of the Cayenne are currently not on sale officially in India. The official ground clearance of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo is 190mm, though you can raise it to 245mm by setting the SUV’s stance in off-road mode.

Priced at Rs 1.93 Crore (ex-showroom, India), the Porsche Cayenne Turbo is available in India with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine as standard.

Sachin has also owned other expensive sports cars such as Nissan GT-R, BMW i8, BMW X5M, BMW 7-Series Li and Ferrari 360 Modena. Sachin also posted a picture of him with his Maruti 800 on social media saying that he misses his first vehicle and wants it back.
