Land Rover Defender
The Land Rover Defender is a premium lifestyle luxury SUV renowned for its off-road prowess and luxurious interior. It is offered in two body styles: a 3-door version (Defender 90) and a 5-door version (Defender 110).
The 3-door Defender 90 is favored for its smaller size and distinctive three-door design, while the 5-door Defender 110 is chosen by those who prioritize practicality over the uniqueness of the 3-door variant.
The variant being driven by Sadhguru is equipped with a massive 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that delivers 525 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 625 Nm. It can achieve a top speed of 240 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. With a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes, it features an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels through the Terrain Response 2 system. Although other engine options are available, this is the most powerful choice among them all.
Sometime back, Sadhguru drove the Mercedes-AMG G63 for a road trip from Kanyakumari to Haridwar. But he remains a biker at his heart.
Sadhguru is a dedicated motorcycle enthusiast who has been riding since his youth. In an interview, he revealed that he owned a Yamaha RD 350 during his college days and embarked on rides across India with it. Notably, he also took a ride with Baba Ramdev aboard a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. Over the years, he has been spotted riding various bikes, including the BMW R1200 GS and several dirt bikes, exploring destinations all around the world.
Interestingly, Sadhguru’s passion for motorcycles extends beyond high-end models; he equally enjoys riding bikes from the mass-segment. He once took a modified Jawa 42 for a ride, showcasing that the joy of riding knows no age limits. For those passionate about motorcycling, it can be a lifelong pursuit, regardless of age.
