Sara Ali Khan’s new ride is a Jeep Compass

Sara Ali Khan, the young actress and daughter of veteran Saif Ali Khan has been much appreciated for her acting in the new Bollywood movies. The actress uses a last-generation Honda CR-V to move around and has been spotted numerous times with the car. Recently, she was spotted with a brand-new Jeep Compass, which is likely to be her new ride.

As per the vehicle registration data, the car belongs to Amrita Singh, mother of Sara Ali Khan. However, Sara is the one who uses it regularly. It seems like the car has been gifted to her by her mother. In the recent pictures, Sara Ali Khan was spotted with brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. It should be noted that this is not the first Jeep in the family. Saif Ali Khan drives around in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, which is the most expensive vehicle in the Jeep India’s line-up.

The Compass spotted with Sara Ali Khan gets a bright blue colour. The exact variant details of the car are not known. However, Jeep offers both petrol and diesel engine options in the Indian market. There is a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine available with the car that generates a maximum power of 160 Bhp and peak torque of 250 Nm. This variant gets both manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel variants of the car are powered by a 2.0-litre Multijet diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 170 Bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. It only gets a 6-speed manual transmission. Soon, Jeep will launch the Trailhawk-rated Compass, which will get a 9-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic transmission with the diesel engine option.

The Jeep Compass is an extremely popular car and is quickly becoming the first choice of many celebrities. There are many including Akshay Kumar, Rohit Roy, Jacqueline Fernandes and Rhea Chakraborty who own a Jeep Compass. Other celebrities who own a Jeep-branded vehicle includes the likes of Farhan Akhtar who owns a Cherokee.

The Jeep Compass is a well-rounded car and is the most affordable SUV from the American brand in the Indian market. In the coming times, Jeep is expected to launch a new entry-level model that will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta in the Indian market. Jeep will also launch a 7-seater version of the Compass in the Indian market. The next big launch from the brand will be the all-new Compass Trailhawk, which will be an extremely capable SUV. It will be the only automatic diesel variant of the model available in India also, it will be the top-of-the-line product that makes it the most expensive version too.
