Scoop: Skoda Octavia L&K pricing revealed

Skoda is all set to launch a brand new model of the Octavia, the L&K. Previously, the L&K was on offer on both the Laura and the first generation Octavia, however, since the launch of the third generation Octavia, the L&K model line had vanished. Now the company is trying to change that and re-introduce the L&K model into the current Octavia line up.

While the launch is still a while away, dealers have already started accepting bookings for the new vehicle and we now have exclusive information on the pricing in Delhi. The L&K will be on offer in both petrol and diesel variants.

Petrol: Rs 21.20 lakhs

Diesel: Rs 23.19 lakhs

The prices are roughly Rs 30,000 more than the existing Style Plus variant. The company may choose to discontinue the Style+ variant soon.

So what is different on the L&K?

While the company has not released the official details yet, the following are the changes that are expected on the L&K as opposed to the Style +. It will get the new Canton 12 speaker audio system, L&K badging and more premium perforated leather seats. There will only be two colours that will be on offer on the L&K model, white and Quartz grey.

It will only be on offer on the petrol and diesel automatic versions. Skoda currently has 3 engine options on offer on the Octavia. The base petrol is a 1.4 liter TSI which comes with a 6-speed manual while there is a top spec petrol which is a 1.8 liter TSI unit which only comes in automatic guise. The diesel on the other hand is a 2.0 liter engine which comes with both a manual and an automatic transmission. The L&K will only be on offer on the 2.0 automatic and the 1.8 automatic for the time being.

Cars have already begun to reach the dealership and the launch is expected sometime next month.
