Singer Aastha Gill buys a brand new BMW X7 luxury SUV [Video]

We have done several stories about cars that celebrities have in their garage and new additions to it. SUVs are quite popular among celebrities as well and we have seen the same in the past. The latest entrant into the celebrity SUV club is Indian singer Aastha Gill. The popular playback singer, songwriter just got herself a brand new BMW X7 luxury SUV. The artist shared a video of taking delivery of her new car on social media.

Aastha Gill is a well known singer in the industry and many songs that he had sung in the past have gone viral already. In this video, that Aastha Gill shared on her personal Instagram page, she is seen taking the delivery of her brand new SUV. The singer is seen posing with the videos before actually driving it out. BMW X7 is actually the new flagship SUV from the manufacturer. It competes with luxury SUVs like Mercedes-Benz GLS in its segment. BMW X7 was first launched in India in 2019. It was earlier sold as a CBU and is now available as a CKD unit.

The exterior design of the X7 is unmistakably BMW. It gets the massive kidney grille at the front with two sleek looking headlamp units on both sides of the grille. There are large alloy wheels on the side profile that go well with the overall look of the car. Side profile of the BMW X7 actually reveals the actual length of the SUV. The rear gets chunky looking design with wrap around split LED tail lamps and BMX X7 branding on the tailgate. BMW X7 SUV is actually the SUV equivalent of their flagship sedan 7-Series.

BMW X7 is a flagship SUV and just like any other flagship model, it is feature loaded. BMW X7 is offered with features like laser headlamps, ambient lighting, panoramic three-piece sunroof, digital instrument cluster, 5 zone climate control, autonomous parking and a reclining function for all-three rows and so on. The dashboard design of the X7 is actually similar to other cars in the BMW family. The layered dashboard has a company fitted touchscreen infotainment system in the middle with the latest iDrive system in it. It also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheels, Crystal-effect gear lever and the car also gets voice assistant feature which is quite common in many cars these day.

In the video it is not clear which variant did the singer actually go for. BMW is offering X7 SUV in both petrol and diesel engine options. The SUV is available in x30d DPE Signature variant, M50d and xDrive 40i variants. The x30d DOE Signature variant is offered with a 30. litre twinpower turbocharged straight 6 diesel engine that generates 261 Bhp and 620 Nm of peak torque. The M50d variant is also powered by the same 3.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine but it generates 394 bhp and 760 Nm of peak torque.

The xDrive 40i variant is powered by a 3.0 litre turbo petrol engine that generates 335 Bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque. All these engine options are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Price for BMW X7 SUV starts at Rs 1.15 crore, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 1.73 crore, ex-showroom.
