Last week, Skoda Auto India launched the Fabia Scout with new looks and features. The Fabia Scout targets buyers who look for distinctive looks and a rugged yet urban appeal. Here we take a look at its variants and price across five major Indian cities.
The Fabia Scout looks like a soft roader, thanks to its peripheral protective cladding. The Fabia Scout also comes with a diffuser, projector headlamps, front and rear door sill trims and stainless steel pedals. The add-ons makes the Fabia Scout stand out in terms of looks but do not seem very value for money for the practical buyer.

The Fabia Scout is powered by the same engines offered on the regular Fabia, except it doesn’t come in a 1.6-litre petrol engine version. The Fabia Scout petrol is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol motor that puts out 75 Bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque while the Fabia Scout diesel is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, diesel engine that puts out 75 Bhp of power and 153 Nm of torque. The ARAI-certified mileage of the petrol version is 16.25 kmpl while that of the diesel version is 20.96 kmpl. Also read: Skoda Fabia Scout launched at Rs.6.79 lakh!
