The Czech automaker Skoda’s Indian subsidiary, Skoda Auto India, has announced new updated pricing for its highly popular models, the Slavia and Kushaq. Both of these models will now be offered at Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 11.09 lakh, respectively, for this festive season. Additionally, the company has also introduced a brand-new Slavia Matte Edition, along with new feature updates for its top-spec models, to celebrate the upcoming festive season.

Commenting on the launch of the cars’ new pricing, Petr Šolc, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, stated, “Our product offensive is aimed at welcoming more customers into the Škoda family and coincides with the festive spirit in the country. It has always been our endeavor to provide our customers with the safest family cars and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with our products and services. These festive offerings and enhancements in our products deliver on these fronts and offer fantastic value to our customers.”

The company has slashed the pricing of its mid-size sedan Slavia and compact SUV Kushaq for the upcoming festive season. Prior to the price reduction, the Slavia started at Rs 11.39 lakh, but now it starts at Rs 10.89 lakh. Meanwhile, the Kushaq compact SUV started at Rs 11.59 lakh and will now also start at Rs 10.89 lakh.
In addition to this, the company has also introduced new comfort and convenience features for these models. The list of these new features includes electric seats for the driver and co-driver seats, and an illuminated footwell area, which is a segment-first feature. Additionally, the cars also get an updated 25.4 cm infotainment screen with Škoda Play Apps. They also get wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. The cars also get a subwoofer in the boot. The Kushaq Monte Carlo will now also get the electric seats and footwell illumination.
All-new Slavia Matte Edition
To further entice new customers, Skoda Auto India has also introduced a brand-new Slavia Matte Edition. The company has introduced this edition in a Carbon Steel paint color, which will come in a matte finish. The car will also get door handles and ORVMs finished in a high-gloss black color as well. Apart from these aesthetic changes, the car will boast the same features as the top-spec model, which has now been updated with the new features.
As for the powertrain side of things, the sedan will come equipped with the same powertrain options, which include a 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. Additionally, the car also gets the popular and more performance-oriented 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that makes an impressive 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
