On the outside, the special edition version of the Kushaq comes with stylized grey graphics on the lower half of the door panels, a faux diffuser for the bumper, and chrome surrounds for the grille. It also gets ‘Onyx’ badges on the B-pillar and a new design for the 16-inch plastic wheel covers. The cabin of the Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition receives ‘Onyx’ badges on the headrests and scuff plates beneath the doors, while the dashboard gets a different textured finish. The overall interior carries a dual-tone black and grey theme, and the cabin adds more premium touches with the two-spoke steering wheel and chrome surrounds for the AC vents on the dashboard.
The Kushaq Onyx Edition also comes with a few additional features over the Active variant. It gets LED projector headlamps, fog lamps, and a rear wiper, washer, and defogger. The cabin also gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 6-speaker audio system, automatic climate control with a touch-sensitive panel for controls, an air purifier, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. Safety features offered in the Kushaq Onyx Edition include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, three-point seat belts for all passengers, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
Only available with 1.0-litre turbocharged engine
The Skoda Kushaq Onyx Edition is offered only with the option of a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI petrol engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox, delivering a maximum power output of 115 PS and a peak torque output of 175 Nm. Although an automatic transmission is not currently available, it may be introduced later.
