Earlier this week, Skoda revealed the prices of the new Slavia 1.0 TSI. Today, the brand has announced the price of the new Slavia 1.5 TSI. The 1.0 TSI range of the Skoda Slavia starts at Rs 10.69 lakh, ex-showroom. The price of the Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI starts at Rs 16.19 lakh, ex-showroom for the manual variant and Rs 17.79 lakh for DSG variant. Skoda only offers the 1.5-litre engine with the most-loaded Style variant. It comes loaded with all the features. The 1.5-litre engine option is the most powerful in the segment. It produces a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. Skoda offers 1.5 TSI with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
There is a 1.0 TSI on offer as well. It generates a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 172 Nm. The three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is available with a six-speed automatic transmission and a six-speed manual transmission.

The Skoda Slavia is based on the MQB A0 IN platform and it is the second car after the Kushaq to get the same platform. The Slavia gets the typical Skoda design with a large butterfly grille in the front and sleek LED headlamps with DRLs.
The car also gets 16-inch alloy wheels. It gets a ground clearance of 179mm. The wheels may look small from a few angles but the Skoda Slavia offers the most comfortable ride quality.
The cabin is feature-loaded as well
The all-new Slavia gets a long list of features as well. The car gets a big 10.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. There is a wireless charger down below and Skoda has added a touch-sensitive climate system. The cabin in fact looks very much inspired by the Skoda Kushaq but there are a few changes around that makes it look different.
Skoda also offers a fully digital instrument cluster. The front seats are ventilated and there is a sunroof as well. Skoda Slavia offers as many as six airbags with the top-end variant. Additional features like a multi-collision braking system, electronic stability control, brake wiping features are available with the new Slavia as well.
The new Slavia 1.5 TSI has no competitors in the market yet. However, the 1.0-litre TSI takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, which starts at Rs 8.87 lakh, ex-showroom and the Hyundai Verna that starts at Rs 9.32 lakh. Skoda has announced that it has already gained more than 5,000 bookings on the new Slavia, which seems like a decent number for an all-new sedan.
