Skoda calls this new variant as the Superb ‘Corporate edition’ and prices of this variant starts at Rs 23.49 lakhs (ex-Showroom-Delhi).
The Skoda Superb Corporate edition is similar to the Superb Style variant. The new variant is powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine which produces 179 Bhp of peak power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Skoda Superb Corporate edition comes loaded with features like 17-inch alloy wheels, Bi-xenon headlamps with DRL and LED tail lights. These features are similar to the standard style variant. The Corporate edition, despite being the standard entry-level trim, does not lack any premium feature inside the cabin. Interiors are loaded with luxuries such as stone beige leather upholstery, a panoramic electric sunroof, 12-way power seat for driver with memory function, and a 9’ touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin also gets an eight-speaker audio system and dual-zone climate control system.
Standard safety equipment includes features like eight airbags, hill hold control, electronic stability control, traction control and with ABS with EBS. Skoda has priced the Superb Corporate edition almost Rs 2.1 lakh cheaper than their standard Style variant. Notably, the Superb Corporate Edition will be sold only to existing Skoda or Volkswagen customers. Skoda is only offering ‘Candy White’ paint colour in the Corporate edition as of now. In the future though, sales of the Corporate Edition Superb may be open for all customers walking into Skoda showrooms.
Skoda continues to sell the regular variants of the Superb with petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel motor is a 2 litre TDI turbocharged unit with 175 Bhp-320 Nm outputs. A 6 speed automatic twin clutch gearbox is standard on it. Skoda also offers the 6 speed twin clutch automatic gearbox option on higher petrol variants.
