In the 2016 Auto Expo, TVS showcased a maxi scooter in the form of Entorq 210 Concept. The production form of the all-new 150cc scooter is expected to be based on the same. It is not known if the upcoming scooter will get a wide body that is inspired by the maxi-scooters or a sleek body like the Aprilia SR150. It will be the most expensive scooter from the brand when launched on the Indian market.

The development on the scooter has started and it is expected to be launched in 2019. With the rising sales of two-wheelers on the Indian market and the arrival of performance-oriented scooters, the upcoming 150cc automatic two-wheeler from TVS will get a lot of attention in the market. It will be the flagship scooter of the brand and will get a long list of equipment.

TVS recently launched the NTorq 125, which is the first sporty looking scooter from the brand. The upcoming model is expected to carry the NTorq 150 moniker but nothing official has been said about the same. The scooter will get an all-new engine that is expected to get fuel injection too. Feature-wise, the Entorq concept carried bits like a mobile holder and a fully digital speedometer. The Ntorq 125 became the first scooter in India to get smartphone integration and the big brother Ntorq 150 is expected to get such similar features.

We can also expect a lot of parts of the Ntorq 125 to be used on the 150cc scooter too. At the front, it will get a telescopic fork and a mono-suspension system at the rear. The maxi-scooter will also get disc brakes and will be one of the first scooters to offer ABS. The Indian government has made it mandatory for any two-wheeler above 125cc to have ABS from 2020.
